Job Description
Gabor Towing, a reputable and reliable towing company located in Greenville, SC, is seeking an experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team. We are looking for a skilled and dependable individual who can provide professional and efficient towing services to our valued customers. No CDL is required, but a minimum of 1 year of experience in the towing industry is essential. Compensation is paid by a percentage of the number of jobs performed each day.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a tow truck to transport vehicles to designated locations, following all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clear communication and timely updates on the status of tow assignments.
Conduct daily inspections of the tow truck, maintaining cleanliness, and reporting any mechanical issues to management.
Complete accurate paperwork for each tow assignment, including proper documentation of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition.
Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to prioritize assignments and ensure efficient use of resources.
Maintain professional appearance and represent the company in a positive manner when interacting with customers and the general public.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the towing industry.
Clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
