About Dignity Health Medical Group - Stockton:

Our multispecialty group, Dignity Health Medical Group - Stockton, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is seeking a full-time Surgical Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative surgical practice with a primary focus on breast cancer care. This role offers a balanced blend of clinic-based care and operating room participation, ideal for APPs who value continuity of care, collaboration, and sustainable work-life balance.

Practice Highlights:

  • Work primarily with our Surgical Oncologist, with occasional collaboration with a General Surgeon

  • Primary focus on breast cancer patients, supporting care from consultation through recovery

  • Outpatient-based practice with meaningful operating room participation

  • Collaborative, physician-led environment that values APP autonomy and partnership

  • Embedded within a multispecialty surgical specialty care clinic, fostering strong interdisciplinary collaboration

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Balanced role: approximately 80% clinic / 20% operating room

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • No inpatient responsibilities and no call

  • Perform:

    • Initial patient consultations

    • Follow-up visits and ongoing care management

    • Post-operative care

    • Patient education and emotional support

Competitive Compensation and Benefits package includes:

  • Base salary: $145,000 - $165,000 annually, plus bonus incentives

Job Requirements

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner

  • Graduate of an accredited NP program with active national certification

  • Minimum of 9 months post-training surgical experience preferred

  • Active, unrestricted California license (or ability to obtain)

  • Interest in oncology and longitudinal patient care
