Senior Software Engineer (Go) Catapult is building the future of sports performance technology. What You’ll Do Contribute substantially to the design, implementation and maintenance of efficient, reusable and reliable code to solve a variety of customer needs while considering existing technology, architecture and processes. Help drive code quality, organization and best practices throughout the development process and in coordination with team objectives. Actively participate in team engineering processes, design meetings and code reviews with a view of continuously lifting quality and improving. Contribute to our test strategy by defining test cases, authoring unit tests and driving automation wherever appropriate. Bring a growth mindset to every task – sharing ideas and opinions with an attitude and appetite for improvement; the ability to challenge, pursue outcomes and take ownership of tasks in a collaborative environment. What You’ll Need 5+ years of recent experience delivering multiple scalable services to production. Strong in Golang. Working knowledge of containerization. Experience with AWS (ECS, EC2, Lambda, SNS, SQS, etc). Experience with automation tools and processes for continuous integration and deployment. Working knowledge of GraphQL, REST, gRPC, Postgres, Mongo. What Your Success Will Look Like In 6 months: You’ll own one or more Go microservices in our platform, shipping production changes confidently across our backend services and contributing to active work such as our unified entitlement and licensing system, our distributed data platform and auth systems. In 12 months: You’ll be leading the architectural design of a significant subsystem; taking a problem from whiteboard to production across our Go service estate and shaping how we evolve federation patterns, offline‑first edge architecture, and the data and entitlement model that underpins both our client applications and third‑party API integrations. Compensation & Benefits Target total compensation range: $112,934 - $225,868 per year, inclusive of base salary and target incentive plan (may include equity, commission, or other bonus structures).
