Job Description

Blue Chip Talent , in partnership with a construction-focused organization, is seeking a skilled Revit MEP Designer . This role is responsible for developing detailed BIM models, coordinating MEP systems across disciplines, and producing construction-ready documentation. The ideal candidate brings hands-on Revit experience and deep knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and piping.

Job Duties

• Develop detailed Revit models for modular construction and building systems
• Model and coordinate MEP systems, including HVAC, piping, electrical distribution, and drainage
• Produce construction and fabrication drawings to support project execution
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define system layouts and design requirements
• Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues across disciplines
• Modify and update models based on stakeholder and project feedback
• Create and manage Revit families and parameters for modular components
• Support project timelines through accurate modeling and documentation deliverables

Required

• Proficiency in Revit for BIM modeling of MEP and architectural systems
• Hands-on experience modeling mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Experience with HVAC systems, including chilled water and refrigerant piping
• Knowledge of electrical systems, including panels, conduit, and cable routing
• Experience detailing piping, drainage, and ductwork layouts
• Ability to produce construction and fabrication drawings
• Experience with clash detection tools such as Navisworks or Revit
• Ability to create custom Revit families and manage parameters
• Experience coordinating models with SolidWorks or similar platforms
• Background in BIM/VDC within construction environments
• Experience working on modular construction projects
• Exposure to multidisciplinary coordination across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Experience supporting project coordination and scheduling deliverables
