Your Key Responsibilities - Utilize advanced radiography and CT technology for producing high-quality diagnostic images for clinical evaluation
- Collaborate effectively with radiology specialists and the healthcare team to ensure precise and timely diagnoses
- Skillfully position patients and adjust equipment settings for optimal imaging results
- Implement and adhere to radiation safety protocols to safeguard both patients and staff
- Keep detailed records, including imaging logs and any necessary equipment upkeep
- Provide empathetic patient care, ensuring comfort during the imaging procedures
- Help maintain a safe and orderly imaging space
What You'll Need to Succeed - Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor's Degree is well-regarded
- Graduation from an accredited program in radiology
Your Credentials and Certifications - ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography is required
- Valid BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment
Valuable Skills for the Position - In-depth understanding of diagnostic imaging techniques and radiation safety standards
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both patients and colleagues
