CNC Lathe Machinist
- Location: Frankfort, KY
- Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour (DOE)
- Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Daily overtime as needed)
- Overtime: Mandatory Saturdays when scheduled
- Position Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities
Create new CNC programs and optimize existing programs for custom, high-value precision parts.
Program and operate CNC lathes using CAM software.
Analyze engineering blueprints, CAD models, and sketches to determine machining operations.
Set up and machine complex parts while maintaining tight tolerances.
Measure parts during and after machining to ensure quality standards are met.
Work closely with the CMM Inspection Lab to verify part accuracy.
Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles throughout the manufacturing process.
Mentor and assist junior machinists while promoting best machining practices.
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Qualifications Previous CNC Lathe machining experience required.
Experience creating and editing CNC programs using CAM software.
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong understanding of precision measuring tools, metrology, and GD&T.
Experience machining complex, low-volume, high-precision parts.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
