Minibus Driver

Responsibilities of a Minibus Driver:

• Responsible for the safe transportation of children from school sites to various locations.
• Follows all YMCA driver regulations outlined in the transportation safety policy.
• Provide each passenger with a complete orientation of safety regulations.
• Complete pre- and post-trip daily vehicle inspection reports.
• Re-inspect vehicles at fuel stops and when vehicles are left unattended for prolonged periods of time for all safety concerns.
• Conduct a trip completion visual sweep of the internal and external areas of the bus.
• Carefully supervise the safe loading and unloading of all passengers.
• Maintain accurate written daily log of vehicle use.
• This position is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 2:00-4:00pm and Wednesday 12:00-2:00pm.

Qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Current Arizona driver's license.
• A minimum of 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• 1st Aid/CPR certified.
• High School education or equivalent.
• A clear or acceptable Motor Vehicle Record that meets YMCA standards.
• Ability to make good judgments while maintaining patience and control.
• All qualified applicants must have knowledge and experience in safe driving techniques and understand procedures and directions.
